Shri. Nandkishor Kagliwal

Chairman, Nath Bio-Genes Pvt. Ltd.

Nandkishor Kagliwal is a first-generation visionary entrepreneur who founded Nath Group of Industries in 1979, giving the country one of its most revolutionary agricultural businesses. With deep roots in agricultural research, rural development, education and health care, he has balanced multiple roles and positions with grace. Nath Group has a presence in seeds, foods, paper and industrial chemicals. Under his stewardship, Nath Group works closely with over 10,000 seed growers and produces seeds on about 25,000 acres of land and provides quality seeds for more than a million acres of land.

Shri Nandkishor has gathered over 40 years of experience, insight and knowledge of the agricultural industry through his work as chairman of the Nath Group of Industries. He hails from the small town of Hingoli and a large family including three brothers and a sister. He built the company from the ground up and sailed through major hardships in life to pursue an MS in management from the USA. Alongside helming the Nath Group, he has been instrumental in setting up a modern hospital, the renowned Nath Valley School and various other social-cultural institutions in Aurangabad region.

Shri Nandkishor also holds various important positions in different organizations enabling him to understand the system further and work in tandem with the changing times. He served as a member of the Planning Commission of Maharashtra and also as president of Maharashtra Economic Development Council (MEDC) for five years. He was on the board of State Bank of Hyderabad, IDBI and SICOM. Currently, he is on the board of governors of Federations of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO), MEDC and Central Institute for Research on Cotton Technology (CIRCOT) and Honorary Commercial Attache for the State of Nebraska, USA.

Shri. Satish Kagliwal 

Managing Director, Nath Bio-Genes Pvt. Ltd.

 

Satish Kagliwal holds the position of the Managing Director at Nath Bio-Genes (I) Ltd. Through his forward-thinking vision for the company, he has been instrumental in propelling it towards its goals every day. He actively crafts the strategy and route for Nath Bio-Genes along with his elder brother, Nandkishor Kagliwal.

From establishing a state-of-the-art biotechnology laboratory for developing transgenic seeds, to striking a global alliance for the vegetable seed business, Satish Kagliwal believes in striving for the best. Under Nath Agro Projects, he has promoted the first of its kind corporate farming project in India. He is also the trustee at Nath Agro Research Foundation and has pursued pioneering work in crop research.

Satish Kagliwal has a master of management from the coveted institution BITS Pilani. He has always been an achiever and continues to be a prolific contributor to society. He dons many hats as he holds respectable positions at different organisations. He is the Chairman of the Aurangabad Vidya Mandir Trust, which runs Nath Valley School. He is also the President at the Aurangabad Management Association (AMA) and the Founder President of the National Seed Association of India (NSAI) and Seed Industries Association of Maharashtra (SIAM).

In the past, he has been the President of the National Seed Association of India (NSAI), management committee member of Kamal Nayan Bajaj Hospital and the President of Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agriculture (CMIA).
